Born on December 12, 2006, in Mali, Ibrahim Diarra began his football career at the Africa Foot Academy and quickly stood out in the youth categories of his national team. His breakthrough came at the 2023 U17 World Cup, where he finished fourth with his team, serving as captain, scoring five goals and providing four assists.
A left sided midfielder who can also player as a winger, when he arrived at FC Barcelona, he needed a few months to adapt physically and tactically, but he ended the season as an important player for the U19A team. He played in 12 league matches (scoring 4 goals), four UEFA Youth League games (scoring twice in the final), and three Copa del Rey matches.
In the summer of 2025, he spent the preseason with the first team, but a muscle injury prevented him from joining the Asian tour.
