Agreement reached between FC Barcelona and UD Almería for the loan of the player Aron Yaakobishvili until 30 June 2027. The agreement includes a purchase option for the Andalusian club.

With Barça since 2018

Born in Hungary on 6 March 2006, Yaakobishvili arrived at FC Barcelona in summer 2018 from the Atlètic Sant Just youth system. He joined the U13s and has showed his solidity between the sticks and good ball playing ability ever since.

He progressed through the youth system up to the U19 level, even going on to play for Barça Atlètic, with his debut for the development side coming on 27 September 2024 away to Tarazona (0-0).

However, he took his biggest strides with the U19s, proving a cornerstone of the side that won the treble of the Liga División de Honor, Copa del Rey and UEFA Youth League. His performances – particularly in the knockout stages – proved vital in the successes of Juliano Belletti's side.

Second loan

On completing the U19s cycle, Aron Yaakobishvili renewed his contract with the Club until 2028, before playing on loan for Andorra last season, making his debut in the Segunda División, with 21 appearances in total. He now joins Almeria, one of the teams expected to be in the hunt for promotion, as the blaugrana keeper takes another significant step in his career.
