Goalkeeper

Goalkeeper Paco Sedano spent seven seasons as one of Móstoles' key players as well as becoming a regular in the Spanish national team.

Paco Sedano was born in Madrid on 2 December, 1979. After beginning his professional career with Autos García-Coslada, the goalkeeper moved to PSG Móstoles at the start of the 1999/00 campaign before sining for Barça in 2007/08. 

As a blaugrana, Sedano has developed into one of the best goalkeepers in futsal, winning countless individual and team honours. He was named best goalkeeper in the LNFS in 2013 and in 2014. With Sedano in goal, the Barça futsal team have enjoyed the most successful spell in the section's history. 

With the Spanish National team, the man from Madrid has also had great success. In 2004 he won a goal medal in the World Championships played in China, the following year another in the European Championships in the Czech Republic and in 2016 he was part of the winning team in the European Championships played in Serbia. 

Technical profile

He is a very consistent goalkeeper and is impressive in one-on-one situations. Sedano also has great distribution of the ball and controls things in and around the area well. He has a great deal of experience at both club and international level and has spent many years playing in the top flight where he has always been a regular.
