Higor is a complete pivot who provides a strong attacking presence, combining physical strength with a keen eye for goal

Barça Futsal signed Brazilian pivot Higor Ribeiro de Souza in the summer of 2026, when he joined the Club from Benfica.

His performances played a key role in Benfica's domestic treble during the 2025/26 season, winning the league title, the Portuguese Cup and the League Cup, having also helped the club lift the league title in 2024/25 and the Portuguese Super Cup in 2023. Across four seasons in Lisbon, he made 119 appearances and scored 57 goals.

Before his spell in Portugal, Higor also left a lasting impression at Palma Futsal in just a season and a half. Having arrived from Corinthians in January 2020 as a player for the future, the Brazilian pivot made an impact from the very beginning.
