Barça were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw against Jimbee Cartagena at the Palau Blaugrana in a closely contested match in which all four goals came before half-time. Despite pushing for a winner until the final whistle, the blaugranes were unable to find a breakthrough, even after Rubio's red card and a late switch to a flying goalkeeper.

The home side took an early lead through Adolfo, but Tomaz quickly restored parity for the visitors. Sergio González then put Barça back in front midway through the first half, only for Tomaz to strike again shortly before the break and make it 2-2.

The second half remained scoreless, although both teams created opportunities. Goalkeeper Dídac was one of Barça's standout performers, producing several key saves to prevent Cartagena from taking the lead. The match also saw Guti make his first-team debut at the Palau Blaugrana.

Despite dominating the closing stages and committing extra players forward in search of a winner, Barça could not find the decisive goal and ultimately had to settle for a share of the points. The team now turns its attention to Wednesday's home fixture against O Parrulo.
