In the summer of 2026, FC Barcelona and Indonesian side Bintang Timur Surabaya (BTS) reached an agreement for the transfer of Souheil Mouhoudine, who had spent the 2025/26 season with Étoile Lavalloise. The France international and captain joined the Club with the aim of strengthening the defence with a goalscoring defender.

Before arriving in Barcelona, Mouhoudine had finished as joint top scorer at the latest UEFA Futsal EURO, sharing the Golden Boot with Antonio on seven goals, and was named MVP of the French league for the 2025/26 season after helping his side win the title. In 25 appearances for the French club, he scored 37 goals—28 in the league and nine in the UEFA Futsal Champions League—while also helping Étoile Lavalloise reach the Final Four, where they were eliminated in the semi-finals.

Mouhoudine also won the Spanish Super Cup and the league title with Cartagena during the 2024/25 season.
