In the summer of 2020 Barça and Corinthians agreed the transfer of the player Matheus Rodríguez Cézar da Silva, on a three year contract until 30 June 2023.
Born on 3 October 1996 in São Paulo, Brazil, before coming to Barça Matheus played for Corinthians back in his native country where he won the Super Cup, two Brazilian Cups, a Paulista Championship and two Paulista League title in his three seasons with the first team.
A left sided player who stands out for his power and goalscoring ability and is considered one of the most promising talents in Brazilian and world futsal.
