FC Barcelona achieved a fourth straight win in group G in the Champions League thanks to their 4-0 win over Dynamo Kyiv in the Ukraine. A brace from Braithwaite and goals from Dest and Griezmann made it a very special night indeed for some, if not all, of the team.
The night in Kyiv will always be a special one for Óscar Mingueza and Konrad de la Fuente. The two young blaugranes both made their official debuts for the first team, doing so in the UEFA Champions League no less. 21 year old centre back Mingueza looked solid in defence, playing all 90 minutes and providing an assist for Braithwaite's first goal.
USA international De la Fuente was another who made his official first team debut coming on in the 84th minute of the game against Dynamo. The winger had appeared in a pre season friendly against Nástic but this was the first competitive game for the blaugrana who has been at the club since 2013.
It has been quite a last few weeks for Konrad as during the recent international break he made his debut for the full USA national side in a friendly against Wales.
Another debutante was the Brazilian Matheus Fernandes, a player who joined in the winter transfer window last season only to immediately go on loan to Valladolid. The midfielder came on in the 73rd minute to replace Pedri in Kyiv.
Another player who will remember the win in Kyiv is Riqui Puig. The young midfielder had made 16 appearances in the league and Copa del Rey for Barça but he had never played in Europe up until the game in the Ukraine. The La Masia product played 35 minutes of the second half after coming on to replace Miralem Pjanic.
Not a debut in terms of appearances but one as a goalscorer for Sergiño Dest. The US international opened the scoring in the 52nd minute of the game to open his account for Barça in his eight appearance since signing from Ajax in the summer.
