Konrad de la Fuente, son of Haitian parents born 18 years ago in Miami (United States), he arrived in Barcelona at the age of 10 when his father was transferred to the Haitian consulate in Barcelona. He began at Tecnofutbol and Damm before joining Barça's U14B team in the 2013-14 season where, with Marcel Sans as coach, he was proclaimed league champion in a team where Nils Mortimer, Arnau Tenas, Takefusa Kubo, Nico González and Sergi Rosanas were also present. He has gone through all the 11 youth teams at the club and his highlights are the achievement of league titles with U16B (2015-16), U16A (2016-17), U19B ( 2017-18) and Franc Artiga's U19A (2019-20). His profile is that of a strong, fast and explosive winger, great in a one on one, and who can play on both sides.
Konrad made his debut for Garcia Pimienta’s Barça B on December 1, 2018 against Valencia Mestalla at the Miniestadi (2-2). He's played three more games with the B team, during which he scored his first goal in the Segunda División B against El Prat. This season he has played 852 minutes in the league with U19A and has scored 4 goals. In the UEFA Youth League he played nine games in the 2018-19 season, in which he scored a goal with Denis Silva's U19A team who lost the semi-final on penalties against Chelsea. This season, with Víctor Valdés, first, and Franc Artiga, later, he played five matches in the group stage in which he scored three goals in the two-legged match against Slavia Prague.
Konrad has been an international with the United States in all youth teams since the age of 14. With the U20 team he played in the 2019 World Cup in Poland, where the United States lost in the quarterfinals against Ecuador.
Konrad is a winger with a great capacity to unbalance defenders. Technically very well equipped, he also has great goal scoring potential
