8. Brian Fariñas

Brian Fariñas, born on 9 February 2006 in Benicarló (Castelló), has worn the Barça colours since 2018, when he joined the Club from Villarreal. He arrived as an U13 player and has completed all his development through the 11-a-side stages of our youth academy.

From the very beginning, he developed as a versatile midfielder, and in his final year as a youth player he was a key part of the team that won the League, Copa del Rey and UEFA Youth League treble.

While still a youth player, he made his debut for Barça Atlètic in the 2023/24 season (16 March 2024) in a 4–2 away win against Teruel. That season he made two appearances, and the following year, while still a youth player, he featured in seven matches.
