    21. David Costas

    Defender

    A powerful, quick centre back with personality and an ability to being the ball out from the back

    David Costas began his career at Chapela CF, his home town club, before joining Celta Vigo U19s. The centre half made his debut for the first team at the age of just 18 against Betis away from home in August 2013.

    Costas made 19 appearances for Celta before joining Barça B on loan in August 2017. The defender previously enjoyed loan spells at Mallorca in 2015/16 and Oviedo in 2016/17, accumulating important experience in the Second Division A.

    David Costas has also represented Spain in at U19 and U21 level.
