1. Egurrola

Team member since 1998 and captain since 2012, nobody has won more honours with Barça than Egurrola

Aitor Egurrola began his career at HCP Castelldefels when he was just six years old. He stayed there until 1992, when he signed for Unió Esportiva Horta, from where, three years later he moved on to FC Barcelona, his current home.

Known by his teammates as "el Pulpo" (the octopus) Egurrola has matured into one of the greatest ever goalkeepers in the history of the game. His safe hands have seen him become a vital member of the Spanish national side during almost his entire career.

He has been a member of the first team since the season 1998/99 and has been captain since 2012/13. In February 2016 he lifted the Copa del Rey in Reus to become the player with most titles in the history of the section.

Considered by many the best keeper in the game, "El Pulpo" is a reference point for both his team and for all young aspiring keepers. His calmness and serious attitude, together with lightning reflexes and expert positional sense have combined with a winning mentality to make Aitor a fundamental part of the Barca team during more than 15 years.
