An early setback

The game quickly became complicated for Barça. Ferran Font's early blue card gave Igualada the opportunity to strike, and although one goal was initially ruled out, Marc González soon put the visitors ahead.

arça struggled to create clear chances in the first half. A Barroso effort hit the crossbar, while Llorca and Aragonès also came close, but the hosts went into the break trailing 0-1.

Always chasing the game

Barça dominated possession after the restart, but the equaliser remained elusive. Alabart was denied by the post, and after several missed opportunities, former Barça player Matías Pascual doubled Igualada's lead with a fine individual effort.

Font reignited hopes by converting a direct free hit after Igualada's tenth foul, but the visitors responded in kind. Biel Llanes also scored from a direct free hit to restore the two-goal cushion and seal the win.
