This Sunday, September 28, at 6:30 PM, several events will coincide, attracting large crowds. On one hand, FC Barcelona will face Real Sociedad at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium; on the other hand, the closing of La Mercè 2025 festival will take place on Montjuïc hill. The Club recommends, as in previous seasons, following the established mobility instructions, as the coincidence of events will cause significant disruptions in the Montjuïc area due to the closure of access points for the pyromusical.

To accommodate the various movements to Montjuïc and meet all mobility needs, FC Barcelona, together with the Barcelona City Council and the local police, maintains the mobility plan agreed in previous seasons to facilitate the travel of Barça members and fans to the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium.

From 3:00 PM, as usual on match days, the special traffic plan will be activated. Vehicles will not be allowed to circulate near the stadium, and access to the Olympic Ring area will require a valid accreditation. The use of escalators will also be closed. For this Sunday —and whenever Barça plays at Montjuïc— spectators are advised to travel on foot or by public transport whenever possible.

Prioritize public transport, especially the funicular, or walking

Among the usual recommendations is to travel in advance. Regarding public transport, the Montjuïc Funicular, which will not be affected, is particularly highlighted and will operate until 10:00 PM. Metro and FGC services are also available to reach the Montjuïc area: Espanya (L1, L3, L8, and other FGC lines); Poble Sec (L3); Paral·lel (L2, L3); Foc (L10 South); Magòria – La Campana (L8 and other FGC lines). Additionally, TMB buses are available to Plaça d’Espanya (D20, D40, H12, H16, V7, 13, 23, 46, 52, 65, 79, 91, 109, 150, 165) and Passeig de la Zona Franca (H16, V3, V5, 23, 109, 125). Access to the Olympic Ring by taxi is also possible, prioritizing Carrer del Foc.

Regarding motorcycles, up to 3,500 can park near the stadium. However, motor vehicle traffic will be cut off on Avinguda Maria Cristina. If no other alternative is available to reach the hill by car, parking at Fira Gran Via in L’Hospitalet will be possible with prepaid tickets and reduced rates.

Shuttle service available

On this occasion, due to expected disruptions, the shuttle stop normally located on Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina will be moved to Avinguda de Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, in front of CaixaForum. The service will operate from 4:30 PM until 6:15 PM, i.e., until 15 minutes before the match starts. Once the match ends, this service will not be available for the return journey.

Those parking at Fira Gran Via in L’Hospitalet will have access to a free shuttle service to the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium via Carrer del Foc. This service will run from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM. After the match, the only exit for the shuttles will also be via Carrer del Foc, due to the timing overlap with the closing pyromusical of La Mercè 2025.

The Club also provides guidance on accessibility for people with disabilities, reduced mobility, or wheelchair users, as well as their companions.
