Born on 26 March 2002 in Utrera (Seville), Joaquín Delgado came through the Betis youth system before signing for Córdoba’s reserve team. After a spell at Utrera, he joined Oviedo Vetusta for the 2024/25 season. In his first year there, Delgado scored 23 goals and played a key role in the team’s promotion from Tercera Federación to Segunda Federación.
In the 2025/26 season, the striker moved to Barça Atlètic after scoring 14 goals in 17 matches for Oviedo’s reserves. Overall, Delgado had amassed 37 goals in 50 appearances, strengthening Barça Atlètic’s attacking line for the second half of the campaign.
Joaquín Delgado is a striker with physical power and pace, capable of exploiting the spaces between opposition defenders. He is noted for his natural eye for goal.
