FC Barcelona and Lyngby Boldklub have reached an agreement for the loan of Barça Atlètic goalkeeper Diego Kochen to the Danish club for one season, until 30 June 2027, with an option to buy.

Seven seasons of development at the club

Diego Kochen, 20, joined FC Barcelona in the summer of 2019 from Fundació Marcet. He joined the U14A team and has accumulated seven seasons of development at the club.

He began to feature for Barça Atlètic and in first-team squads during his second year at youth level. Last season, having completed his youth development, he made 20 appearances for Barça Atlètic and was a regular in Hansi Flick's matchday squads.

Kochen, a United States international, will compete next season with Lyngby Boldklub in the Danish First Division after the team secured promotion a few weeks ago, with the aim of gaining minutes in professional football and continuing to develop as a player.
