    Decisive in defence and known for his bursts of pace and penetration in attack

    Fullback Héctor Fort arrived at La Masia in the 2013/14 season from PB Anguera and progressed through every Barça youth side, before making his debut with the first team in the 2023/24 season.

    Even though still an Under 18 player, he played for Barça Atlètic in the 2023/24 season, while also getting a regular call up to the first team squad. His debut with the FC Barcelona first team came on 13 December 2023, when he was the starting right back in the game away to Royal Antwerp. Xavi Hernández mainly used him as right back, but he also played left back in the Copa del Rey quarterfinal played at the San Mamés stadium.

    Héctor Fort also played in the U17 World Cup in the 2023/24 season and is a key member of the Spanish side.

    Technical profile

    A fullback who is decisive in defence and known for his bursts of pace down the wing and penetration into the opposing area. A goalscoring defender too.
