Preparations for Granada

Xavi Hernández and his players were back at training after taking a break for King’s Day, a holiday in Spain, as they concentrate hard on preparations for a big trip to Granada on Saturday (6.30 pm CET). The team are in good spirits after winning their opening Copa del Rey fixture on Wednesday against Linares. Today’s session on pitch 2 at the Ciutat Esportiva featured returns to action for Sergiño Dest, Gavi, Alejandro Balde and Ez Abde, who have all shown negative for Covid-19 in PCR tests, a situation that the club has reported to the corresponding authorities.
