The FC Barcelona first team completed on Saturday their final training session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper ahead of their first official fixture of the 2026/27 season. On Sunday the blaugranes meet Elche in the Martínez Valero stadium, kick off at 9.30pm CEST, in the first game of the defence of their La Liga title. 

Hansi Flick had all his available first team players at his disposal for the session along with Eder, Cortes, Pesquer, Hamza, Espart and Fariñas from the Barça Atlètic and U19 squads. 

After the training session Hansi Flick appeared before the press at the Ciutat Esportiva to give this thoughts on their first game of the season in official competition. 

The team will travel to Elche on Sunday, the day of the game.
