Patri Guijarro, 2026 Gamper star player
Barça Femení midfielder Patri Guijarro, in her first appearance as captain, was named player of the match for the Festa del Gamper Estrella Damm 2026.
Patri played the full 90 minutes and was a key figure in midfield, making a decisive contribution to the blaugranes' victory. In fact, she provided two of the assists that helped Barça secure a 3-1 win, with goals from Brugts, Pina, and Graham. In addition, before the team's presentation, she was responsible for delivering a speech to the fans.
Patri's Second Award
With this award, Patri Guijarro repeats the achievement she previously earned in the 2022/23 season, when she scored two of Barça's six goals against Montpellier.
The trophy was introduced in the 2021/22 season, coinciding with Barça Femení's first participation in the Joan Gamper Trophy, and Jennifer Hermoso was the first player to receive it. A year later, Patri took over the honour, before Mapi León was recognized in the 2023/24 season and Ewa Pajor in the 2024/25 campaign.
Now, Patri is once again the star of the show and becomes the first player to win the Star Player Award more than once.
