Willy Hernangómez will not continue wearing the FC Barcelona jersey in the 2026/27 season once his contract expires on Tuesday 30 June. The club would like to thank him for his commitment to Barça and wishes him all the best for the future.

The Madrid-born centre joined Barça in the summer of 2023 from the NBA, where he had spent seven seasons. As a blaugrana, he played a total of 238 games across the Liga Endesa (112), EuroLeague (111), Catalan League (7), Copa del Rey (6) and Spanish Super Cup (2).
