Movistar Inter 5-6 Barça: Into the final
The FC Barcelona futsal team took a 6-5 win over Movistar Inter away from home to move into the final of the league play offs where they will meet either ElPozo or Palma. Two goals from Pito and a hat-trick from Martel were key in the victory which also gives the blaugranes a place in next season's Champions League.
Dominant Barça
Javi Rodríguez's team came out determined and their reward came in the 12th minutes when Touré put the blaugranes ahead.
Just two minutes later Gauna won the ball back and fed Martel who made it 2-0 with a well placed shot, an advantage the blaugranes took into the break.
Movistar Inter come back
The game exploded into life in the second half. Pito hit the post as Barça threatened to make it 3-0 before Harrison pulled one back for Movistar Inter. The home side rallied and in the 26th minute a deflected shot from Raúl Gómez made it 2-2.
The equaliser for the home side unleashed a crazy passage of play with Pito putting Barça back ahead on the half hour mark. Just two minutes later Bartolomé made it 3-3, and with Barça a man down in the 34th minute Raya put Movistar Inter 4-3 ahead.
Barça coach Javi Rodríguez called a time out and it seemed to do the trick as Pito made it 4-4 on 36 minutes. No more goals in normal time meant overtime and the home side were the first to react with Barona making it 5-4 to Movistar. However, Barça were not finished and two goals from Martel handed Barça victory and a place in the league play off final and qualification for next season's Champions League.
