As is now the tradition, June began with two peña meet-ups to celebrate the end of the season in atmosphere of companionship and all things FC Barcelona.

On Saturday June 4, the Peña Barcelonista Montanejos organised the 26th Trobada de Penyes de las Comarcas de Castellón. Around 200 hundred people attended the venue in Castellón, which began with the official inauguration of the peña and a community breakfast for all those present.

At noon, the blaugrana party led by Social Commission members Lluís Pérez and Jordi Brull headed to the Montanejos town hall where they were received by mayor Miguel Sandalines.

Former player and member of the FC Barcelona Players Association Robert Fernández joined the group and they went on to enjoy a lovely gala lunch, during which peña president Alberto Molinar and Peña Advisory Board delegate Carlos Martínez, plus the elected officials present all said a few words to those present, before gifts were exchanged as is tradition.
