You do not win La Liga by chance. Hansi Flick's team have taken the league title and a reflection of their dominance is the fact that the blaugranes also lead the ranking in many of the main statistical categories. We take a look at some of the leading areas in which Barça came out on top.

Goals as the main weapon

Hansi Flick's teams are usually ones that stand out for their attacking intent and Barça are no exception. After scoring 102 goals in the league last season, in 2025/26 they recorded a total of 95, a full 18 ahead of the next best goalscorers, Real Madrid on 77. Over the league season that came out at 2.5 goals per game.

Team that shoots most

Goals are only scored if you shoot. Barça lead also in this area with 692 over the season, 257 of which were on target. Real Madrid come second with 665 shots and 253 on target.

Possession and Barça DNA

FC Barcelona's style of football is always based on possession. Over the 2025/26 league season, Hansi Flick's team enjoyed a total of 68.91% possession in their matches, with Real Madrid in second place on 59.44%.

Comeback kings

Just like last season, the blaugranes came back from behind to pick up valuable point in the league. In total, Barça picked up 21 points from losing situations, ahead of second placed Alavés and Valencia on 16 points.

Fifth time on 94 or more

Hansi Flick's team picked up a grand total of 94 points in the season, a total that has only been matched or bettered on five occasions in the club's history. In 2009/10 the team ended with 99 points, in 2010/11 the total was 96, a record of 100 was set in 2012/13 and in the treble winning season of 2014/15 another total of 94 was recorded.

Zamora for Joan Garcia

Joan Garcia's signing last summer was a masterstroke. In his first season as a blaugrana the Catalan keeper took the Zamora Trophy, conceded just 21 goals in 30 matches. The defence also played its part, conceding fewest efforts from their opponents (346) and coming second in fewest shots on goal (132).

16 different goalscorers

Barça can create danger from anywhere and that is borne out by the fact that as many as 16 different players scored over the 2025/26 league season:  Lamine Yamal, Ferran, Lewandowski, Raphinha, Rashford, Dani Olmo, Fermín, Araujo, Pedri, Bernal, Cancelo, Kounde, Cubarsí, Eric Garcia, De Jong and Roony.

Most used players

Hansi Flick gave playing time to 29 different members of the squad over the league season. At the back Eric Garcia (2730 minutes), Pau Cubarsí (2708) and Joan Garcia (2700) were the mainstays of the defence with Lamine Yamal (2269) and Jules Kounde (2261) rounding off the top five.

Fewest yellow card

Being an attacking side who dominate possession, it comes as no surprise that Barça received fewest yellow cards over the season, just 59. Nine fewer than Real Madrid in second place on 68.

Corners and catching teams offside

The last two categories led by Barça are corners - Barça had more than any other team in the league with 262 - and also in catching teams offside, which they did on 164 occasions.
