Back to work at the Ciutat Esportiva. After a day of rest following the demanding clash in Newcastle, the blaugrana were back on the training pitch with their sights firmly set on Sunday’s game. Sevilla’s visit to Spotify Camp Nou (taking place on the same day as the club elections) will be another big test for the league leaders as they look to stay firmly on top of La Liga.
At Thursday’s session, Hansi Flick had the available first-team players at his disposal, with the exception of Lamine Yamal, who sat out training with mild general discomfort. Eder Aller, Tommy, Álvaro Cortés and new debutant Xavi Espart trained with the group as call-ups from the reserve team.
The session kicked off a run of three training days to fine-tune preparations for the La Liga showdown with Sevilla, part of Matchday 28 of the league campaign.
