Barça Femení treated themselves to an attacking masterclass to mark their debut in the 2025/26 Champions League. Pere Romeu’s side swept past Bayern Munich 7–1 with a superb all-round display, featuring several standout performers — one of them, a familiar suspect: Ewa Pajor.

Half century already

The Polish striker was once again unstoppable, scoring two of Barça’s goals (to make it 2–0 and 5–1) in another display of sheer hunger from a forward who looks set to smash many more records. Pajor came into the game with 49 goals in a Barça shirt, and her brace took her past the 50-goal mark to a total of 51.

That figure becomes even more impressive when you consider the number of games it’s taken her to reach it, the Bayern clash was only her 55th appearance. That’s 51 goals in 55 matches, almost one per game. In fact, looking only at this season’s numbers, her average is already above a goal per match.

Amazing season

So far this season, Ewa Pajor and Barça have played seven matches (six in the league and one in the Champions League) and the number 17 has scored eight goals. Three braces (in the first two league outings against Alhama and Athletic Club, and another against Bayern), plus one goal against DUX Logroño and another against Espanyol.

Team firing in goals

Pajor’s eight goals are part of the team’s astonishing tally of 38 goals in seven games, a colossal average of 5.4 goals per match. They may have ended last season with the disappointment of Lisbon, but they’ve started this one in unstoppable form. They’ve won every game so far; in the league they already hold a four-point lead over the second-placed team; their football flows beautifully, and the goals just keep coming.

And while Barça’s scoring threat comes from many players, one name stands out above the rest: Ewa Pajor.
