FC Barcelona October calendar.
The French champions and Champions League holders are the first of the five opponents in the month of October for Hansi Flick's team. The game, which could have easily been the final last season, has all the elements to be a great match and takes place on Wednesday 1 October at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, kick off 9pm CEST.
After the visit of Luis Enrique's team, Barça's next test comes in La Liga away at Sevilla on Sunday 5 October at 4.15pm CEST. Another win would allow Barça to remain top of the table during this month's break for international fixtures.
Derby, Champions League again and Clásico
Following international fixtures, club football returns with a triple helping of derby, Champions League and Clásico. On Saturday 18 October at 4.15pm CEST, Barça host local rivals Girona in La Liga. Three days later on Tuesday 21 October at 6.45pm CEST the blaugranes are again at home with the visitors Olympiacos in the Champions League.
