Just a second home defeat for the blaugranes this season and a first in Europe as Emporio Armani Milano take a 90-86 win in the Palau Blaugrana. The Italians had an excellent evening from the three point line and in the first quarter they took a significant lead that Barça found difficult to claw back. Hall top scored for the visitors with 21 points, five of which came when Roger Grimaus team threatened to get back into the contest.

Six three pointers

The visitors began the game switched on and Shields and Voigtmann scored six three pointers between them to open up a significant lead in the first quarter for Milano. Oscar da Silva's eight point kept Barça ticking over but the home side trailed by 10 at 29-19 at the end of the first quarter.

Shields kept up his scoring in the second quarter reaching 17 points to help retain the Italians' lead at half time at 51-40. In the second half the blaugranes began to claw their way back into the encounter with Vesely prominent in reducing the deficit to 68-59 with one period remaining.

The blaugranes came close to getting back on level terms but the Laprovittola's expulsion for fouls and the cool head of Hall meant Milano took the win to inflict a first Euroleague home defeat of the season on Barça.
