Dani Alves was at Hospital de Barcelona followed by the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Monday for his medical tests following Friday’s announcement of his return to FC Barcelona.
The Brazilian full-back will be training for the first time with the squad at the 6.00pm CET session on the same day, under his former colleague Xavi Hernández, but with plenty of new faces since he left the club six years ago.

Alves will not be able to play until January and the opening of the mid-season transfer window, but he will be officially presented on Wednesday 17 November at the Camp Nou in an event open to the public and to be screened live on the club’s digital media, starting at 2.00pm CET.
