Ansu Fati wins NxGn 2021 award

Pedri (4th) and Ilaix Moriba (50th) also feature in the list of the world's greatest young footballers

Ansu Fati has won the NxGn 2021 award, coming top of a list of the fifty best young players in the world – and this comes after the Barça starlet finished second in the same list a year ago. The prize was decided by a vote involving the editors-in-chief of each of the 62 different global editions of Goal.

Pedri and Ilaix Moriba too

Ansu wasn’t the only Barça player to make the top 50. Pedri came fourth and Ilaix Moriba came fiftieth.

Any players born from 2002 onwards were eligible for voting for an award where second and third place went to Eduardo Camavinga of Rennes and Gio Reyna of Borussia Dortmund.
