Brace from Sergiño Dest against Real Sociedad

FC Barcelona ran riot in the Reale Arena against Real Sociedad with goals from Griezmann, Dembélé and braces for Leo Messi and Sergiño Dest. 

The USA international scored his first ever goal in La Liga after opening his Barça account in the group stages of the Champions League against Dynamo Kyiv in November of last year. 

Now the right back has three goals in his 32 games so far this season, 22 in la Liga, 2 in the Copa del Rey, 7 in the Champions League and one in the Spanish Super Cup. The defender has also provided an assist in that tie since making his debut last October in the 1-1 draw against Sevilla at Camp Nou. 

With his two goals in Sant Sebastián, Dest becomes just the third US player to score in La Liga after Jozy Altidore in 2008 and Yunus Musah in 2020. Dest is the first American to score a brace in the Spanish league. 

Sergiño Dest has been selected by the USMNT for their upcoming friendlies against Jamaica and Northern Ireland during the upcoming international break.
