Trincão scores his first goal as a Barça player

The Portuguese scored the final goal in the 2-3 win at Benito Villamarín and said he was 'very happy for the team and with the victory'

Francisco Trincão has scored his first goal for FC Barcelona in an official match. The Portuguese forward had the final say in the 3-2 win against Betis, securing three vital points for the Catalans who continue their pursuit of league leaders Atlético Madrid.

The No.17 acknowledged his happiness at the end of the game, saying: "I am very happy for the team and with the victory. My team-mates help me a lot and I thank everyone."

You have to go back more than 15 years to find the last Barça player who scored his first goal at Benito Villamarín; Dutchman Mark Van Bommel, who opened his Barça account on September 24, 2005.
