Adrián Sola joined Barça in the summer of 2023 from Anaitasuna with the aim of continuing his development at La Masia and progressing within the club's handball structure.
Born in Sangüesa, Navarre, the young player steadily progressed through the youth ranks before making his first-team debut on 9 March 2025 at the age of just 16 years, 10 months and 22 days, becoming the second-youngest debutant in the history of Barça Handball.
Sola's rise through the ranks at Barça has therefore been meteoric. Thanks to his quality and ability to adapt to different roles on the court, he has gradually become a more prominent figure in the first-team setup.
The right winger, who can also play as a back, excelled with the U16A side and, from his first year at youth level, began training with the first team on an increasingly regular basis.
After being called up for the first team's pre-season ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, the Navarrese player remained involved with the senior squad until signing his first professional contract in December 2025.
Adrián Sola is a left-handed player with enormous potential who stands out for his pace, his ability to beat opponents in one-on-one situations and his goalscoring threat from the right wing. His versatility also allows him to operate in back-court positions, bringing talent, directness and intensity to the team's attacking play.
