The FC Barcelona futsal team gave everything but still went down to a 5-4 defeat against ElPozo Murcia in the Super Cup final. After coming from 3-1 down to level things up, the blaugranes lost out in the final minute of the contest to ElPozo who take the title with the league set to start next weekend.

Two early blows 

ElPozo weathered an early storm from the blaugranes to take the lead on 8 minutes when Santa Cruz put them ahead. Worse was to come for Barça when Pachu doubled the lead just three minutes later. Keeper Dídac turned creator for Javi Rodríguez's side, his pass allowed Martel to make it 2-1 on 14 minutes. 

Murcia took a 2-1 lead into the break and things looked bleak for Barça when Marcel made it 3-1. 

Culer reaction but late disappointment 

Pito and then Matheus went close for the blaugranes before João Víctor finally made it 3-2 with a well taken goal. Hope came when João Víctor created a chance for Adolfo who made no mistake to draw Barça level at 3-3. 

However, with the blaugranes sacrificing their keeper, ElPozo made it 5-3 through Gadeia in the final minute with Catela's late, late effort to make it 5-4 purely academic.
