Barça Women will continue their preparations for the 2026/27 season with one of the standout fixtures of their pre-season schedule. After kicking off their summer campaign against Montpellier FC at the Estadi Johan Cruyff on 12 August, Pere Romeu's side will play their first away match by taking on Manchester City Women at the Joie Stadium on Saturday 15 August at 17:00 CEST.

The fixture will bring together two of Europe's leading women's football teams in a high-level encounter that will allow the Blaugrana to continue building match fitness and gaining valuable competitive minutes against top-class opposition ahead of the start of the official season.

A top-level test

Manchester City, the reigning Women's Super League and Women's FA Cup champions, will provide another demanding challenge for Barça in a pre-season programme designed to prepare the team for the season ahead.
