Sporting Club Huelva 0–3 Barça: Winning run continues

The blaugranes reach the mid-point of the league season with a 100% record

The season so far reads 14 wins out of 14 for Barça Women in the league after a comfortable 3-0 win away at Sporting Club Huelva with the domestic campaign now at its mid-point. Two goals from Oshoala and one from Mariona were enough for victory in Andalusia and to maintain their 100% record in the competition.

Blaugrana dominance

Barça started like a team in a hurry and there was a flurry of chances in the early minutes of the contest. Sporting defended well but offered little going forward and it came as no surprise when Oshoala opened the scoring on 21 minutes with a well placed header.

Still in the first half, a second came for the blaugranes when Mariona pounced onto a rebound after Lucy Bronze's effort had been blocked on 31 minutes. More chances came and went but Sporting managed to keep the lead to just 2-0 for Barça at half time.

Oshoala gets a brace

The second half followed the pattern of the first. In the 57th minute Oshoala scored her 7th league goal of the campaign to make it 3-0, finishing well after a pass from Mariona.

Paraluello hit the post as Barça chased a fourth goal but in the end a 3-0 victory was enough to leave them top of the table still with the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Real Madrid to come on Thursday.
