Leo Messi continues to break records! Two weeks ago, he scored his 500th goal for Barça in an epic finale at the Bernabéu and against Villarreal he reached the 50-goal milestone for the season for the fifth time in his career. He is on 51 so far this campaign and there are still three games left to play.
The Argentinian star scored a brace against Villarreal with his second coming from a cheeky Panenka penalty. These goals take him to 35 in the league and keep him top of the scoring charts in La Liga and in line for the Balon d’Or.
