Real Madrid 2–5 FC Barcelona

Spanish Super Cup Final – 12 January 2025

Barça lifted the first trophy of the year with a dazzling display in Saudi Arabia. Mbappé gave Madrid an early lead, but the blaugrana response was an attacking masterclass: Lamine Yamal, Lewandowski (from the spot), Raphinha and Balde capped a stunning first half to go 4-1 up. After the break, Raphinha extended the lead before Rodrygo pulled one back for Madrid following Szczęsny’s dismissal.

Benfica 4–5 Barça

Champions League league phase – 21 January 2025

A great European comeback at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon on one of the wildest, most epic nights in Champions League history. Pavlidis struck a hat-trick inside half an hour to put Benfica 3–1 up, wiping out Lewandowski’s earlier penalty. Raphinha pulled one back on 64 mins, but an Araújo own goal made it 4–2 on 68. Ten minutes later, the comeback began: Lewandowski converted another penalty (4–3), Eric Garcia levelled (4–4) and Raphinha sent Barça fans into raptures with a last-gasp winner in the 96th minute. An epic, rain-soaked victory.

Atlético Madrid 2–4 Barça

LaLiga – 16 March 2025

The Metropolitano hosted another show of character. Goals from Julián Álvarez and Sørloth put Atlético 2–0 up, but Barça hit back emphatically. Lewandowski and Ferran Torres equalised in the space of six minutes and, deep into stoppage time, Lamine Yamal and Ferran completed a magnificent comeback to secure three priceless points.

Barça 4–3 Celta

LaLiga – 19 April 2025

A breathless contest at the Lluís Companys. The night when Borja Iglesias’ hat-trick wasn’t enough to topple Barça. Ferran Torres opened the scoring, but “El Panda” struck three times to make it 3-1 after an hour. Once again Barça showed their character: Dani Olmo pulled one back, Raphinha equalised and then the Brazilian sealed the win from the spot in the 98th minute.

Barça 3–2 Real Madrid

Copa del Rey Final – 26 April 2025

A final for the ages. One of the finest and most thrilling on record. Pedri opened the scoring, but Mbappé and Tchouaméni turned it around in a frantic seven-minute spell. Barça refused to yield: Ferran Torres forced extra time, which was ultimately decided by Jules Koundé’s winner in the 116th minute. Pure blaugrana epic at La Cartuja.

Barça 4–3 Real Madrid

LaLiga – 11 May 2025

With the title race at boiling point, Barça produced another epic display. Despite Mbappé’s early brace, the hosts responded with an attacking masterclass: Eric Garcia, Lamine and two goals from Raphinha turned the game before half-time (4–2). Mbappé pulled one back after the break, but Barça held firm for a 4–3 win worth half a league title.

Espanyol 0–2 Barça

LaLiga – 15 May 2025

At the RCDE Stadium, Barça were crowned league champions. A stunning strike from Lamine Yamal set them on their way, and Fermín López sealed it in stoppage time with a goal that has already become part of the club’s recent history.

Barça 4–0 Athletic Club

LaLiga – 22 November 2025

A dream return home. The first match at the renovated Spotify Camp Nou ended in full-blown celebration. Lewandowski scored the first goal in the new stadium, and Ferran, Fermín and Ferran again completed a perfect rout on a night of emotion and renewed hope.

Barça 3–1 Atlético Madrid

LaLiga – 2 December 2025

With top spot on the line, Barça responded with vibrant football. Raphinha cancelled out Baena’s opener, and after the break Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres (the latter in stoppage time) wrapped up a win that sent a rapt Spotify Camp Nou into overdrive.

Betis 3–5 Barça

LaLiga – 6 December 2025

Barça claimed a convincing win in Seville. Despite Antony’s early goal, a Ferran Torres hat-trick and a gorgeous strike from Roony made it 4-1 by half-time. Lamine extended the lead from the spot after the break and although Llorente and Cucho Hernández found the net late on, the blaugrana victory was never in doubt.
