Today's win was preceded by victories over Osasuna (2–0), Betis (3–5), Atlético de Madrid (3–1), Alavés (3–1), Athletic Club (4–0), Celta (2–4) and Elche (3–1). Such consistency reflects not only their attacking efficiency but also their defensive solidity, with several clean sheets along the way.
The team had not recorded a such a streak since 2017: five came under Luis Enrique at the end of the 2016/17 season, followed by three more under Ernesto Valverde at the start of 2017/18.
