FC Barcelona's 2025/26 preseason is gathering pace. After a double session on Saturday, the blaugranes were back at work at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Sunday to complete an intense first week of training as the squad prepares for the coming season.
Missing from the session were Marc-André ter Stegen, Dani Rodríguez and Ibrahim Diarra, the latter missing after picking up a muscle injury that will keep him out of the upcoming preseason tour to Japan and South Korea.
A week with 10 sessions
Sunday's session as the 10th of the week for the blaugranes: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday saw double sessions with workouts in the morning on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Next week sees the squad head for Asia and the preseason tour of Japan and South Korea. Monday will be a rest day but Tuesday will see another double session. On Thursday the squad will head to Japan where they will face their first friendly of preseason against Vissel Kobe, kick off 7pm local time, 12pm CEST.
