There was naturally a buoyant mood at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper this Sunday morning as the players gathered for training fresh after such a magnificent performance against Betis the night before.
But there is no time for rest, and the players were straight back out on the Tito Vilanova field to start getting ready for the Champions League debut against Royal Antwerp on Tuesday. And they did so in the company of Ronald Araujo, who was able to join in some of the exercises going into a week in which Xavi hinted the other day that he is likely to be declared match fit again.
There is only time for one more workout before taking on the Belgians, and that will be on Monday together with all the usual UEFA pre-game press conferences.
