Pedri does it again. On Sunday, against Villarreal the midfielder from the Canary Islands scored the only goal of the game to hand Barça all three points in the Estadio de la Cerámica. The strike came in the 18th minute of the encounter after excellent work from first Kounde and then Lewandowski.
The victory against Villarreal was Barça's eighth 1-0 win of the season and the fourth involving a goal from Pedri, following on from wins against Celta, Getafe and Girona.
Pedri now has seven goals this season and is Barça's topscoring midfielder, giving coach Xavi Hernández just what he wants from the Tenerife born player: more goals. The 20 year old is up to the task and his goalscoring has been vital in helping the blaugranes to the top of the table.
