Dembélé returns after testing negative for Covid-19 in a PCR test with Dani Alves also included after receiving confirmation of his registration

It is Copa del Rey time.  After the win against Mallorca in the league, the knock out competition sees reigning champions FC Barcelona makes their debut in this season's competition away at Linares Deportivo in the last 32. 

The blaugranes will travel to Andalusia with coach Xavi Hernández having named a 21 man squad. Ousmane Dembélé is back after returning a negative Covid-19 PCR test. The Club has notified the relevant authorities. Dani Alves is also included in the squad after the Club received confirmation of his registration from the Spanish Football League (LFP). 

The full list is as follows:  Ter Stegen, Piqué, R. Araujo, Sergio, Riqui Puig, O. Dembélé, Dani Alves (awaiting registration confirmation), Neto, Jordi Alba, F. De Jong, O. Mingueza, Umtiti, Eric, Iñaki Peña, Nico, Jutglà, Álvaro Sanz, Comas, I. Akhomach, Guillem, Estanis and Mika Mármol.

Defenders Clément Lenglet and Samuel Umititi are both missing with a stomach bug. The two Frenchmen join the list of absentees that includes Dest, Sergi Roberto, Coutinho, Pedri, Dembélé, Memphis, Ansu Fati, Braithwaite, Ferran Torres, Gavi, Abde and Balde with Luuk de Jong also ruled out due to suspension.
