Memphis wins October Goal Of The Month
The Dutchman's beauty against Alavés gets the most votes from users of the official FC Barcelona website
It wasn’t an easy decision, but Barça fans have voiced their opinions and we have a winner of the October Goal of the Month. And it goes to Memphis for his delightful piece of work against Alavés. His brilliant shot that combined swerve and strength to find the right spot in the Basque goal but Barça 1-0 up at the Camp Nou.
It’s the second time the Dutchman has been a winner. His goal against Athletic Club at San Mamés was named August Goal of the Month.
In October, he did it again, beating some other superb strikes from Ansu Fati (vs Valencia), Agüero (vs. Real Madrid) and Gerard Piqué (vs. Dynamo Kyiv).
The Goal of the Month is voyed for each month by Barça fans and includes a draw in which the winner gets their favourite player's shirt.
