Leo Messi's most famous goal celebrations

Leo Messi's most famous goal celebrations

We take a look at the best moments from the Argentine's career of reacting to sticking the ball into the back of the net

It is 1 May 2005 and Leo Messi has just lobbed the ball over the head of goalkeeper Valbuena to score his first goal in a Barça shirt in a game against Albacete. 15 years and 641 more goals later the Barça number 10 has had ample chance to put together an impressive highlights reel of goal celebrations.

The most recent came on Sunday against Osasuna with Messi revealing a Newell's Old Boys shirt with Diego Maradona's number 10 in tribute to his fellow Argentine who recently passed away.

Goal celebrations that have been epic, personal and full of meaning, from his first in the arms of Ronaldinho to the boot in the Champions League final in 2009 and the shirt outstretched in a packed Santiago Bernabéu.
