FC Barcelona has reached an agreement for Roger Martínez to join Barça Atlètic. The midfielder joins as a free agent and has signed with the club for two seasons, until 30 June 2027.
The new recruit completed the routine medical checks, visited the club’s facilities, and will join the reserve team’s training sessions under Juliano Belletti’s orders in Vall d'en Bas starting this Tuesday.

Born on 5 April 2004 in Badalona, Martínez already knows what it means to wear the Barça shirt. Early in his development, he passed through Barça’s youth academy. Between 2013 and 2016, he played for U10B, U12D, and U12B. He later moved to UE Cornellà and, at the U16 level, signed for Espanyol, with whom he made his senior debut in both La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
He spent last season on loan at CD Lugo, where he played 34 matches and scored one goal in Group 1 of the Primera Federación. In addition, the new Barça player has been an international with Spain’s youth teams, from the U15s to the U19s.
