FC Barcelona are reaching the end of their tour of Japan and South Korea which has once again shown the global appeal of the Club. President Joan Laporta took the chance to publicly thank the hosts for the welcome the blaugranes have received. "The reception we have had in Korea and Japan has been incredible. To see the fans and Supporters' Club members giving their all for Barça is incredible. It show the global nature of our Club and we are very grateful to them all," said the president.
Stronger relations
Aside from giving something back after the great reception over the last few days, the tour of Asia has also been a chance to "strengthen institutional tie," according to Joan Laporta. "We have been in contact with the mayor of Kobe and the Governor of Kyoto," reminded the president before adding that the "business community has also got behind Barça both in Japan and South Korea," concluded the president.
The Barça brand, global
All of this on a tour that "began in difficult circumstances," said Laporta. "Thanks to the ability to react and the Club's strength to react in time, all the credit goes to the Club's employees," continued the president about the tour's success. After the difficulties, the tour has allowed the Club to "project Barça's identity, which fills us with pride. We want to show where we come from and who we are."
Regarding the 25/26 season, Laporta is clear that the team "signed well" and that he hopes that "will bring success in the season."
