FC Barcelona were present for the traditional floral offering at the Monument a Rafael Casanova to celebrate the National Day of Catalonia today. Led by president Joan Laporta, the blaugrana delegation also included other Board of Director members such as Rafael Yuste, first vice-president for the Sporting Area, Elena Fort, vice-president for the Institutional Area and Board of Directors spokesperson, Eduard Romeu, vice-president for the Economic Area, Miquel Camps, deputy spokesperson for the Board of Directors and director responsible for Amateur Sports, Josep Ignasi Macià, director responsible for the Social Area, Joan Solé, director responsible for Handball, and Jordi Casals, president of Barça Atlètic.
Also in attendance were Bojan Krkic, as Club ambassador and Marta Segú, FC Barcelona Foundation director.
Representatives from the professional teams were also in attendance. Men's first team player Oriol Romeu, and women's football first team coach and player, Jonatan Giráldez and Alexia Putellas represented the football teams. Coach Roger Grimau and captain Àlex Abrines attended from the basketball team. Sporting director Joan Marín, coach Carlos Ortega and captain Dika Mem were there from the handball team.
The futsal team was represented by coordinator Jordi Torras, coach Jesús Velasco and captain Sergio Lozano, while the roller hockey representatives were coordinator Gaby Cairo, coach Edu Castro and captain Sergi Panadero. Youth football was also represented by players Enric Vilaró, Mario Franco, Olivia Parareda and Laia Abelairas, plus four players from the Barça Genuine team, namely Marc Cutillas, Guillem Inglés, Miquel Chavarría and Laia Utrilla. The Barça Players Association were also in attendance, represented by president Juan Manuel Asensi, vice-president Pere Valentí and director Antonio Olmo.
