Kuzey Kiliç is FC Barcelona basketball’s new chief of scouting and data analytics. Born on 10 July, 2000, the 26-year-old from Turkey joins the sporting department led by sporting director Xevi Pujol. Kiliç arrives at Barça after gaining international experience with major European clubs such as Fenerbahçe, Zenit St. Petersburg, and Dubai BC.

His career as a professional scout began at Fenerbahçe in February 2021. After spending a year and a half working in his native Turkey, he moved to Zenit St. Petersburg, a stay that lasted from 2022 to 2025. In July 2025, he joined Dubai BC, where he spent the last few months working alongside Barça’s new head coach, Aleksander Sekulić.

His connection with basketball started at a very young age. Kiliç was determined to pursue a career in talent identification and data analysis, beginning to write about basketball at the age of nine. During his teenage years, he built a reputation as a freelance analyst, becoming known for the detailed scouting reports and articles he published for various websites and specialist magazines, as well as through his work with Eurosport Turkey.

Beyond following every EuroLeague game, his scouting network covered players across all age groups in Africa, Europe, and the NCAA, giving him a broad and international perspective on emerging basketball talent.
