As every season, no sooner has the league started than things are interrupted by an international break, with some absolutely crucial World Cup qualifying matches for the bulk of the Barça squad.
But for those that are not travelling with their national teams, it’s training as usual with Ernesto Valverde at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper – until Thursday at least, after which they’ll be getting the rest of the week off.
